No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.
Spancil Hill saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.
Camber Sands galloped way to long and was disqualified.
Camber Sands was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.
Empire Red Planet suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.
Spancil Hill won the race after a spectacular finish.
