The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Mantorp this day.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were

Cranberry ended up behind the leader.
Von Schmeganhausen got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Lord Lucan galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Cranberry. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.
Lyxwaux galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.
Shining
Lady suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.
Dude From Iceland suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop
T-bone Walker today. It continued in the lead.
Shining
Lady started to gallop after 1500m and Charles Degiorgio had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
T-bone Walker kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused
Lord Lucan galop.
Lord Lucan lost 50 m.
Von Schmeganhausen never caught up with
T-bone Walker who won.
