Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Mantorp track was in top-condition.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were
Monkey Star.
Zitadelle Larockma ended up behind the leader.
Moonchild got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Réclamant Le Trophée started to galop and lost 50 m.

Crusher saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.
The leader got disturbed by something and
Doc The Hooligan took the lead rather easily. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.
Sliding
Scope suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.

Sunshine started to gallop after 1500m and Johan Carlfjord had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Doc The Hooligan didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.
Knight Rider gallopped 40 m after 2000m.
Doc The Hooligan kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
