The sun was shining on Vermo today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Goodbye Holly found a gap and took the lead. Dupont followed before Rolling Moment.




Dead Man Walking saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Climbing Speed was disturbed and galoped 50 m.




Never Fade Away looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Dupont couldn't come out from behind the leader, Dead Man Walking.




Dead Man Walking was still in the lead after 1500m.




Dead Man Walking kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Dupont speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Edmond Globetrotter galop. Edmond Globetrotter lost 30 m.




Dupont didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
