The sun was shining on Färjestad today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Confident Wave. Bright Hollywood ended up behind the leader. Ballad Of Beacon got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Confident Wave was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Bright Hollywood galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Confident Wave was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Ballad Of Beacon saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Ballad Of Beacon started to gallop after 1500m and Åke Lindblom had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Ballad Of Beacon was still in the lead after 2000m.

Ballad Of Beacon sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Confident Wave sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
