Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Solvalla track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Walking Bear could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Powerful Factory quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Walking Bear took the lead after 1000m. Fast Bear didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Walking Bear was still in the lead after 1500m.



Powerful Factory was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Walking Bear kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Powerful Factory was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.




Walking Bear didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
