One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Surrey Opal was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

This is the positions after 500m. Fair Share, Portable Lion, Surrey Opal, Nihel, Betula Luminifera, Flaming Queen, Flugelhorn Cherry, Beautiful Montana.

Portable Lion sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Fair Share looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Flugelhorn Cherry suddenly took over the lead. Portable Lion gallopped 50 m after 2000m.

Beautiful Montana litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Flaming Queen never caught up with Beautiful Montana who won. Surrey Opal came third.
