One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Doc The Hooligan. Gentleman Puma ended up behind the leader. Parfait got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Parfait was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Old Pirate who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Doc The Hooligan looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Gentleman Puma couldn't come out from behind the leader, Solid As Sugar.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Solid As Sugar followed by Doc The Hooligan and Parfait. Lane two Gentleman Puma followed by Moonlight Heat and Old Pirate.




Solid As Sugar kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Old Pirate was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Solid As Sugar were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Solid As Sugar didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
