Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kausala track was in top-condition.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were

Bretagne Barda got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Growing
Power was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.

In The Air. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m.
Thousand Dreams sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Indépendant suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.
Thousand Dreams was still in the lead after 1500m.
Påarps Miss Norway showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.
Thousand Dreams sat safely in the lead after 2000m.
Thousand Dreams kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Påarps Miss Norway galoped for 60m and was disqualified.
Påarps Miss Norway was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.
Bretagne Barda sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
