One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nessla Nom De Guerre could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Pointing Thinker was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Nessla Nova Baby was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Pointing Thinker galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Jocelina was still in the lead after 1500m.




Nessla Nova Baby kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Jocelina was disturbed and gallopped for 30 m.



With only a little left of the race Pointing Thinker galoped for 50 m. Mustang Rebel looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Nessla Nova Baby didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
