One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Decisive Satellite tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Larocque that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Kotona Ihmemaa looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Decisive Satellite couldn't come out from behind the leader, Larocque.
