The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Happy Play could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Little Moment started to galop and lost 30 m.




My Oppurtunity quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Slow Devil looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Little Moment couldn't come out from behind the leader, My Oppurtunity. Indrajit was disturbed and galoped 40 m. Proprio Adesso galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one My Oppurtunity followed by Scoperta Mio Via and Slow Devil. Lane two Happy Play followed by Little Moment and Indrajit. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Honourable Platinum gallopped for 40 m.



My Oppurtunity were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Veijo Heiskanen tried a little too much on the homestretch and Slow Devil started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Final standings. 1 Scoperta Mio Via, 2 Little Moment, 3 Happy Play.
