The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Romme this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Blood Red Planet. Beautiful Sunshine ended up behind the leader. Parasélène got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. When the startcar left the field Parasélène started to galop and lost 20 m. When the startcar left the field Relaxing Knight started to galop and lost 30 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Beautiful Sunshine, Opposing Summer, Ernesto Clöving, Saignant Élire, Tobaco Trader, Relaxing Knight, Foo-foo, Flying Fortune.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Relaxing Knight accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



driver couldn't keep Triton's Stamina Shortfall to trotting so they were disqualified. Relaxing Knight looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Triton's Stamina Shortfall galoped way to long and was disqualified. Jim Frick tried a little too much on the homestretch and Triton's Stamina Shortfall started to galopp and lost 20 m.




Final standings. 1 Blood Red Planet, 2 Relaxing Knight, 3 Beautiful Sunshine.
