The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Kuopio this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nessla Ilostmymind could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Tuomas Korvenoja wanted a little to much in the start and Lady galoped for 30 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Stepping Heat sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Stepping Heat was still in the lead after 1500m.



Stepping Heat sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Nessla Ilostmymind won the race after a spectacular finish.
