The sun was shining on Åby today. A perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Green Thistle. Sad Cookie ended up behind the leader. Focused Steel got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Moving Plan sprinted to the front.

Beautiful Cookie looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Focused Steel couldn't come out from behind the leader, Moving Plan.

Beautiful Cookie saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Sad Cookie was first on the homestretch followed by Green Thistle and Beautiful Cookie.

Beautiful Cookie galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.

Focused Steel won the race after a spectacular finish.
