Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Årjäng track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Apache Rebel tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Starscream that came steaming ahead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Calura Boy took the lead after 1000m. Apache Rebel didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Ticking Spring suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Calura Boy followed by Starscream and . Lane two Apache Rebel followed by Ticking Spring and . Ticking Spring started to gallop after 1500m and Magnus Jakobsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Calura Boy kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Apache Rebel never caught up with Calura Boy who won. Starscream came third.
