It had been raining for several days at Harstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sad Steel could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Eejit sprinted to the front. Hereford started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Eejit was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Eejit was still in the lead after 1500m.




Eejit was still in the lead after 2000m.



Eejit looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Sad Steel made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Eejit.
