One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Coughing Wave tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Roman Catholic that came steaming ahead.




Diehard Rebel saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Rebellious Work took the lead after 1000m. Diehard Rebel didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rebellious Work followed by Roman Catholic and Strong Pain. Lane two Diehard Rebel followed by King Dessert and Coughing Wave. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Strong Pain gallopped for 20 m. Coughing Wave galloped for 30 m.



Diehard Rebel speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Diehard Rebel today who won before King Dessert and Roman Catholic.
