One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Whiskey took the lead after a very quick start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Funky Galaxy started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Whiskey was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Whiskey followed by Loop Head and Counterfeit Fall. Lane two Cheerful Energy followed by Radiating Beauty and Funky Galaxy.



Whiskey kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Loop Head won. Whiskey came in second. Radiating Beauty caught third place.
