One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were From My Heart. Wasted Opportunity ended up behind the leader. Vintersorg got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Fair Autumn quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Blue Fountain who started to galop and lost 50 m. Top Deluxe galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Wasted Opportunity sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Wasted Opportunity was still in the lead after 1500m.

Wasted Opportunity sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Boyen won. Lawless came in second. Vintersorg caught third place.
