It had been raining for several days at Halmstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Speed Spinner tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Listen To Me that came steaming ahead.

Liudvikas Bakaou was in fine shape and held the lead.

Liudvikas Bakaou looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Mysterious Way couldn't come out from behind the leader, Manhattan Kid. Indian Sneaker galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Liudvikas Bakaou followed by Front Boulder and Listen To Me. Lane two Speed Spinner followed by Mysterious Way and Manhattan Kid.

Front Boulder was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. See My Vest Cherry was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Speed Spinner looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Mysterious Way kept the speed the whole finish and won before Listen To Me and Speed Spinner.
