The sun was shining on Tingsryd and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Balanced Image. Never Been Seen ended up behind the leader. Sharp Steel got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Balanced Image was in fine shape and held the lead.




Mr Sunshine looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sharp Steel couldn't come out from behind the leader, Balanced Image. Sharp Steel galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Balanced Image was still in the lead after 1500m.




Balanced Image kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Mr Sunshine litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Sharp Steel made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Balanced Image.
