One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Substance Élégante was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Substance Élégante was in fine shape and held the lead.

Substance Élégante clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Thousand Dreams accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Thousand Dreams sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

driver couldn't keep Bluestolvan to trotting so they were disqualified. Thousand Dreams looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Substance Élégante sprinted over the finishline before Thousand Dreams and Sushi.
