The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Hankasalmi this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Nil By Mouth was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field River Prince started to galop and lost 10 m.




River Prince quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Nil By Mouth took the lead after 1000m. River Prince didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. River Prince was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




River Prince saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




River Prince didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



River Prince were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Nil By Mouth never caught up with River Prince who won. Ei Saa Peittä came third.
