The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åby this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Café Au Lait. Insane Moonlight ended up behind the leader. Wondering Star got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Kebne Kajsa suddenly started to galop. Carl-Erik Lindblom had to struggle to get Kebne Kajsa to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




Moneypenny Face quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Insane Moonlight looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Café Au Lait couldn't come out from behind the leader, Moneypenny Face.

Café Au Lait won the race after a spectacular finish.
