One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Projecteur. The Fast Turnover ended up behind the leader. Bene Progetto got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Fast Runner, Hard Beard, Shooting Momentum, Gin Fizz, Dreaming Scope, Projecteur, Stopping Pirate, The Fast Turnover.

Dreaming Scope took the lead after 1000m. Projecteur didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Bene Progetto galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dreaming Scope followed by Shooting Momentum and Bene Progetto. Lane two Fast Runner followed by Projecteur and Stopping Pirate. Windsong Darcy galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Dreaming Scope kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Dreaming Scope kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Opposing Winter galop. Opposing Winter lost 50 m.

The Fast Turnover won the race after a spectacular finish.
