Start List
Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Gävle track was in top-condition. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Bergens Engel found a gap and took the lead. Sowing Pie followed before Discover Me. When the startcar left the field Silver Sign started to galop and lost 50 m. Spider Girl quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 40 m. A bird flew just in front of Exclusive Symbol who started to galop and lost 40 m. Candy Stick galloped for 60m and was disqualified. The leader got disturbed by something and Silver Sign took the lead rather easily. Sowing Pie accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Candy Stick was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. Silver Sign suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead. Silver Sign kept the speed the whole finish and won before Sowing Pie and Bergens Engel. Results
