Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Östersund track was in top-condition.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Drogheda sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Unknown was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Håkan Skoglund wanted a little to much in the start and Whatever
Top galoped for 20 m.
Not A Stallion quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 10 m.
Drogheda sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Eat My Dust looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Unknown started to gallop after 1500m and Unknown had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Eat My Dust sat safely in the lead after 2000m.

Top galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Top was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.
Eat My Dust sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Drogheda sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
