The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Loviisa this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Ammattimie looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Edustaa Esitaistelija couldn't come out from behind the leader, Kullervo. Edustaa Esitaistelija suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Ammattimie saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

Ammattimie sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Edustaa Esitaistelija galopped for 30 m on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Edustaa Esitaistelija galop. Edustaa Esitaistelija lost 30 m.

Pleasure In Carrots won the race after a spectacular finish.
