One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

As It Gets sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Roman Empire showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

Aluminum looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Like A Star couldn't come out from behind the leader, As It Gets.

Basketcase was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Royal Hero looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that As It Gets couldn't come out from behind the leader, Like A Star.

Intergalatic was disturbed and galopped for 20 m.

Royal Hero never caught up with Like A Star who won. Aluminum came third.
