One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Discover Me found a gap and took the lead. Orgueil De Vous followed before Smelly Feet. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m. Unknown showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

Smelly Feet looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Ange De Paradis couldn't come out from behind the leader, Discover Me.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Discover Me today. It continued in the lead.

driver couldn't keep Final Rumble to trotting so they were disqualified. With only a little left of the race Final Rumble galoped for 40 m. Discover Me kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Discover Me kept the speed the whole finish and won before Orgueil De Vous and Ange De Paradis.
