Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Slippery Angel was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.
The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.
Giant Chill sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one
Giant Chill followed by
Slippery Angel and
Whoop Whoop. Lane two
Doctor Mud followed by
Walking Titan and
Pampered Maid.
Pampered Maid started to gallop after 1500m and Tom Horpestad had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Giant Chill looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
Slippery Angel won the race after a spectacular finish.
