The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Halmstad this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Awesome Gold One was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

This is the positions after 500m. Lonely Cherry, Master Pretender, Tricky Doll, Valetta Princess, Yolo Ella, Growing Behemoth, Skipping Wave, Karlovacko.

The leader got disturbed by something and Valetta Princess took the lead rather easily.

Yolo Ella saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Lonely Cherry galloped for 30 m.

Karlovacko speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Awesome Gold One sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
