It had been raining for several days at Klosterskogen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Game In Hand could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Odd Arne Sagholen wanted a little to much in the start and Toy Opal galoped for 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Dianthus Superbus, We Go Again, Heureux, Ticking Diamond, Vilppulan Mikko, Game In Hand, Dzurilla, Toy Opal. We Go Again was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Dianthus Superbus was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dianthus Superbus followed by Game In Hand and Savnet Af Mig. Lane two Heureux followed by Vilppulan Mikko and Toy Opal. Dzurilla galloped for 50 m.



Heureux suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Game In Hand never caught up with Heureux who won. Vilppulan Mikko came third.
