One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pas De Promettre sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Happy Starlight who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Vzoren looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Comrade Z couldn't come out from behind the leader, Swiss Merengue.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Vzoren followed by Pas De Promettre and Brilantní Pøitloukaè. Lane two Comrade Z followed by Swiss Merengue and Happy Starlight.




Vzoren kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.




Vzoren was safely in the lead after 2500m.



Vzoren kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Brilantní Pøitloukaè galop. Brilantní Pøitloukaè lost 30 m.




Swiss Merengue never caught up with Vzoren who won. Comrade Z came third.
