The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Hagmyren today. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Coq Rougue. Christiane F. ended up behind the leader. Thirtynine got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Postcard From Edmonton sprinted to the front. Carmenzita was disturbed and galoped 40 m. The leader got disturbed by something and Cute Peach took the lead rather easily. Doppel Anschlag suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m. Le Petit Nareye accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Thirtynine gallopped for 20 m. Le Petit Nareye were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Robert Bergh tried a little too much on the homestretch and Doppel Anschlag started to galopp and lost 40 m. Christiane F. won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
