It had been raining for several days at Kalajoki but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Steel Star could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

Relaxing Muscle quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

My My Crazyboy sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

My My Crazyboy was still in the lead after 1500m.

Steel Star was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. My My Crazyboy kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Badlands sprinted over the finishline before Coffee House and My My Crazyboy.
