One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bruciare Desiderare found a gap and took the lead. Gentle Giant followed before In The Dark.




Silver Arrow quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Gentle Giant who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Flag Day sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Flag Day followed by Bruciare Desiderare and Gentle Giant. Lane two Quieto Il Lucido followed by In The Dark and Helpful Hero.




Flag Day was still in the lead after 2000m. Quieto Il Lucido gallopped 30 m after 2000m.



In The Dark speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.
