Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Shawnee Shay could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Elephants On Parade showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Élément Perturbateur sprinted to the front. Broken Heart started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Elephants On Parade galoped after 1000m and lost 40 m.
Standings after 1500m . Lane one Élément Perturbateur followed by Shawnee Shay and Scar Tissue. Lane two Teach Me Tiger followed by The One Who Cares and Molly Monster.
Élément Perturbateur kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.
Angry Grey Rat was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Élément Perturbateur sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
No-one could catch Élément Perturbateur today who won before Teach Me Tiger and Shawnee Shay.
