The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Pihtipudas this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Soft Sign sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Addicted To Rain to trotting so they were disqualified. When the startcar left the field Walking Fall started to galop and lost 40 m.




Soft Sign was in fine shape and held the lead.




Radiating Maid looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Walking Fall couldn't come out from behind the leader, Soft Sign.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Soft Sign today. It continued in the lead. Walking Fall galloped for 50 m.




Soft Sign didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Volga showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Soft Sign sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Soft Sign kept the speed the whole finish and won before Special Gina and Bold News.
