One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Majestic Lady sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Unknown was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. driver couldn't keep Unknown to trotting so they were disqualified.




This is the positions after 500m. Sudden Witch, Majestic Lady, Lindy Magpie, Happy Diary, The Classic, Justify This, Crystal Ball, Starshine Maid.




Lindy Magpie looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Happy Diary couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sudden Witch. Unknown galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Happy Diary looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Majestic Lady couldn't come out from behind the leader, Sudden Witch.

Starshine Maid was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Starshine Maid galoped for 60m and was disqualified. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Starshine Maid galop. Starshine Maid lost 30 m.




Sudden Witch kept the speed the whole finish and won before Happy Diary and Justify This.
