One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Fawltys Rolling Specialone. En Peluche ended up behind the leader. Tricky Sunshine got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Stifling Nova saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Stifling Nova was disturbed and galoped 10 m.

Stifling Nova was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Tropical Tropic was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Stifling Nova followed by Tricky Sunshine and En Peluche. Lane two Fawltys Rolling Specialone followed by La Changhe Monsiuer and Tropical Tropic. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Ukiddinme gallopped for 40 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and General Cruiser gallopped for 20 m.

Stifling Nova sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
