One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Sleeping Wind could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Unknown started to galop and lost 30 m. When the startcar left the field Hard To Get started to galop and lost 40 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Wannabe, Chlogio, Jokin Maaginen, Sleeping Wind, Hard To Get, Roseraie, Waving Pie, Jean Pierre. Unknown started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m. A bird flew just in front of Unknown who started to galop and lost 30 m.

Sleeping Wind took the lead after 1000m. Chlogio didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Sleeping Wind was still in the lead after 1500m. Unknown galloped for 20 m.

Unknown was disturbed and galopped for 30 m. Sleeping Wind looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Jean Pierre galop. Jean Pierre lost 20 m. Unknown tried a little too much on the homestretch and Jean Pierre started to galopp and lost 40 m.

No-one could catch Sleeping Wind today who won before Roseraie and Chlogio.
