One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lyon Trucker could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Rugged Crusher started to galop and lost 30 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Jolly Sky sprinted to the front. Crispy Captain started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Rugged Crusher sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rugged Crusher followed by Lyon Trucker and Jolly Sky. Lane two General Stone followed by Black Nick Nobelium and Crispy Captain.

Rugged Crusher were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Lyon Trucker sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
