The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Dannero this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Caramia Hawky could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Moonlight Rose, Mad Breeze, Hector The Vector, D'artagnan, Inter Course Superior, Neeskens, Bright Lily, Caramia Hawky.




Hector The Vector looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Neeskens couldn't come out from behind the leader, Moonlight Rose.




Inter Course Superior accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Caramia Hawky suddenly took over the lead. Neeskens was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.



Caramia Hawky were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Caramia Hawky didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
