Only a humble breeze blew over Åmål this day. The track where in perfect shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Galadrielle tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Ristimänimen Edessä that came steaming ahead. The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Galadrielle took the lead after 1000m. Live For The Hangover didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Ristimänimen Edessä suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m. Galadrielle was still in the lead after 1500m. Ristimänimen Edessä put some pressure on the leader and could take over. Ristimänimen Edessä seemed to be in good shape this day and continued in the lead. Galadrielle gallopped 30 m after 2500m. Ristimänimen Edessä kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. Ristimänimen Edessä kept the speed the whole finish and won before Galadrielle and Live For The Hangover. Results
