It had been raining for several days at Leangen but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Magas Kiválóság could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Cliffs Of Gallipoli saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Achievement looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Magas Kiválóság couldn't come out from behind the leader, Cliffs Of Gallipoli.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Cliffs Of Gallipoli today. It continued in the lead.



With only a little left of the race Dream Of Fire galoped for 30 m. With only a little left of the race Achievement galoped for 40 m. Cliffs Of Gallipoli kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Cliffs Of Gallipoli kept the speed the whole finish and won before Dream Of Fire and Magas Kiválóság.
