One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Elrond could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Stopping Dragon started to galop and lost 30 m.




Falling Wave quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Ont Près Soie started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Nessla Waikiki looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Faramundo couldn't come out from behind the leader, Falling Wave.



Listening Satellite looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Elrond couldn't come out from behind the leader, Faramundo.






Winner of todays race was Faramundo. Listening Satellite came in second. Elrond became third.
