Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Lindesberg track was in top-condition.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Shifty Henry Lore could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Christien showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. Örjan Kihlström wanted a little to much in the start and Close Dribbler galoped for 50 m.
The leader couldn't hold the lead and Superstjärna sprinted to the front. driver couldn't keep Šeško The Man to trotting so they were disqualified.
