One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Mantovani was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Lone Valley started to galop and lost 30 m.

Kookpunt looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Thibaud couldn't come out from behind the leader, Flakvierling Larockma.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Flakvierling Larockma followed by Lone Valley and Thibaud. Lane two Carrara followed by Mantovani and Kookpunt.




Flakvierling Larockma was still in the lead after 2000m.



Flakvierling Larockma looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Thibaud galopped for 20 m on the homestretch.




Lone Valley made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Flakvierling Larockma.
